My friend mr apple is back on the air here and posting good stuff as always, nice to see the loss of mblog did not dampen his enthusiasm. And what did I spy this morning but a way to try and get your data back without paying mblog ! Have a look here guys.
I tried it for my old site and as long as you look at the cached link you can see all your text.
This at SV's site is really nice. Good that some have the opportunity to meet in the flesh also as Sivin and Messy have shown and even myself with Alwyn.
The internet is not all that bad if we can make some friends that we would never have met otherwise. You know once you become 'involved' with another blogger they become like family in a sense and you find that you like to keep up with the happenings in their life and yes occaisonally tut tut at what you read but you wouldn't have it any other way.
I gave up after two days of trying to get the mblog site going properly as you just get no support from them. I found through the forum that they are using a hacked version and that people won't help you because of that:
I understand that you may not have been aware that mBlog's service is not a legitimate one, but no one who respects MT's licenses (and in turn, MT and the good people at Six Apart) can in good conscience provide any support to mBlog's users.
After getting the idea from a mate I decided to make a three day road trip on the bike to clear my head in between roles. Was having too much fun riding to take a lot of pics but these are where I did stop.
