Whodunnit

We watched this last night and I found it much more interesting than when I watched it way back when. I forgot that it had a rather explicit scene in the middle and had to double check the cover to make sure it was the right movie.

It paints a rather bleak picture of the monastries of the time but all in all a good watch. I especially like the choice of many of the characters who are 'raw' featured to say the least. If you see it watch out for Ron Perlman (hellboy) as a hunchback, he must be much older than I thought.

Finally Saw It

Got to see Spiderman 2 at last today. Have to agree with everyone that it is a good film though a bit bored with the sappy smile of Peter Palker all the time. The comic book version was more hard bitten and was always getting one up on Jamieson.

Something struck me watching it today though - who cleans up all that web he leaves as he weaves his way through the city ?

The Second Aussie Bond

Eric Bana has been chosen to take the role after Pierce has retired according to this article. He will be only the second Aussie since George Lazenby's unremarkable performance in only one movie. I hope Eric does not let the side down but I fear it is a much more British role personally.

I know one fellow blogger who will be excited by the news anyway - time to start working on the interview questions ;-)

It is Getting Closer

Yes, the bat is back and it looks like it is a prequel version from what I could see at the website And an ensemble cast that has me drooling already: Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman (my favourite villian), Michael Caine and Samuel L.

What more could you want ? Except it to be quicker than Summer 2005 of course
