Nice Service

Enjoyed being back in BLC for service today and there was communion which was great as have not had that since we left and I find it an important part of my worship life. Some new songs and an old favourite and the comfortable way of doing things that lets the kids be part of it all without becoming the centre. A lot more of the liturgy in there today as well, i almost started singing the preparation for communion Sivin ;-p

Enjoyed seeing everyone again and surprised a few by being there as well. Shocked to the see the new short hair James, nice to see Hooi Ann's bump getting bigger already in the three weeks, nice to have a short play time with Godson Eden (pity just as we left he was getting used to us again after going through that more difficult age when only Mum and Dad will do), wonderful to see some other friends being so excited and grateful, sad to hear about a break in, cool to hear WC read the scripture, great to see Gareth with his first barber cut (really growing up now), good to see one of the newlywed couples. Missed a few folks but hope we will catch them when we all come together.

All in all a joyous morning and worth the 8,000 km trip. The Lord be with you folks..
