Al tagged me today which is something I have thus far been able to avoid. So here goes:
1. Total number of books you own -
I stopped counting a while back and I had to shed a whole bunch before we moved to KL. Not as many as Sivin though !
2. The last book you have bought -
Agree with Al here I rarely only buy one when the mood takes me so I just bought:
Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Secrets and Dean Koontz Velocity
3. The last book you have read -
My horses are still running so am part way through Dean Koontz Strangers, Willards Renovation of the Heart, Banks Powell Faith in Leadership and Celebration of Discipline. I tend to go in spurts as energy dictates.
4. Five Books that mean a lot to me -
Celebration of Discipline by Richard J Foster (nearly the only book we less theologically talented folks needs to read)
Lord of the Rings by Tolkein (a great read with an underlying message)
My Brother Jack by Geroge Johnstone (I read this at school and felt saome symmetry with the characters)
Charmaine Solomons Asian Cookbook (the source of many a gastronomic delight)
The Heavenly Man by Brother Yun (reminds me not to be cynical about faith)
5. My turn to tag five others -
Apple Man
Alpha
Daniel
Mr Tan
John
oops! didn't say "chup."
now I need to go take photos of my bookshelves ; ).

yeah celebration of discipline is a crucial read, too...esp in our hyper-paced world, eh?
