Remember These ?

At dinner we got on to cartoons and it was interesting to hear what the different shows were that people remembered. Those of us with *ahem* longer memories could remember Quick Draw McGraw while we worked out that Skyhover was a care bear fan (just kidding hehe) Sivin dragged up a couple of anime favourites that I also watched as a whippersnapper marine boy and astro boy, I think speed racer, gigantor, kimba, and Tom of T.H.U.M.B. all came from Japan and very often many of the characters looked remarkably similar. For you young folks you can catch up here.

oh, yeah, Kimba the White Lion. I used to love watching that on Saturday mornings. he had a distinct tuft of hair on his chest, like young dogs have. Ultraman was my afternoon hero. still is, in some ways. no talk, all action, fights city-crunching demons, flies to the Sun. haha!
