Found Song of Susannah in Singapore yesterday and immediately bought it. I have been looking for it all over the placer since I saw that it had been released. It is the second last in the Dark Tower series. I have been reading Stephen King since my teens and I remember how long ago the Gunslinger was first released in 1982. This has been a long wait and there was a huge hiatus between the Gunslinger and the second book.
The last one is due for release in September in the US but don't know when it will hit Asia so don't know how long I have to wait. Just bummed I did not find it before I went on leave last week. It is one of those series that people like or don't take to and I took to it from the start. Something about the appeal of the mix of old west character with multiple worlds and some sci fi that the boy at heart cannot resist.
Well now I know what I will be doing on the weekend say thank ya
hey i think the final book is out in stores now

Were you referring to the Dark Tower series? Sigh I thot the first 4 were superb, but I've tried and tried and tried to go more than 100 pages of 'WIzards & Glass' and kept giving up. Song of Susannah is the final one after 'Wolves of Callaha/callhan' right?
Are you sure it's the penultimate one? ;>)
