Relaxing Sounds

I really like the sound of the water feature when the little pump is running. Makes it nice sitting in the study with that babbling in the background. I added a bio filter and some good "bugs" a couple of weeks ago and it is now quite clear. The fish seemed a bit worried though about their lack of cover so I added a few water lettuce which float on the top with their roots dangling. The fish are still too timid to pose for a picture though ;-)

 

 

Wearing Your Colours ?

 

Curious one from Scott, I don't necessarily feel overpaid if I wear a branded shirt, perhaps if I worked for Ralph Lauren I might. What do you think ?

Pork Tenderloin

Another recipe from Gordon tried for the first time in honour of having Paul with us. Great visit and the first time I have relaxed a bit on the weekends. Always good to see you bro. It is wrapped in proscuttio and served with a herb and parmesan cous cous cake baked in the oven. I added some wein sauerkraut as that is great with pork. You make a jus from the juices. Delicious and definitely one to do again. Of course some nice red wine courtesy of Paul did not go astray.

I love the play of light on the trees and plants as the sun goes down.

 

The grapes growing on the vine remind me of God's bounty for us and I can't help being grateful for the blessing of this home for our family.
