I Don't Like Mondays

But I do like Sundays and today has been a good one. We had more baptisms and some reaffirmations plus we recognised out pastors or reverends depending on which term you want to apply hehe

I saw this quote on my bloglines:

Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives. William James US Pragmatist philosopher & psychologist (1842 - 1910)

I think similarly baptism is recognition of the fact that we are changing our inner hearts rather than minds and the end result is the same in that it shows in the outer aspects of our lives. I liked the explanation that making the sign on the forehead is wiping away the old mark of slavery as I had not heard that before. It is always interesting when Rev Wolfgang speaks as Rev Sivin says his different background makes for a different approach.

We also had a mini bloggers convention happening which if you counted the BLC bloggers is not so mini. Here is the roll call : Sivin, Alwyn (casino man), Messy Christian, John, Skyhover, Journeywoman, Life Together, James and My Tightrope.

And someone brought the best congee mmmmmm

It was indeed a wonderful day. It was made more special meeting you :D

Here's to more wonderful "chance" meetings...

the last two Sundays have been special indeed ... as well as every other Sunday. I was reminded a while ago that Sunday for Christians is the 1st day of the week. Thus, we start with God, then Monday (tho' not so pleasing) is the second day.

*hahah* the Rev. thing was funny huh? I was just cheeky! I love it when people feel free to call me by my first name! There's a closeness ..
